The YU GO 8 FT is the larger portable HVLS fan in the JCB range, stepping up to an 8-foot blade span and a 1.5 kW induction motor running at 206 RPM. Unlike the 6 FT model which uses a PMSM motor, the 8 FT uses a three-phase induction motor — still on single-phase 220–230 V supply — delivering a significantly higher airflow of 117,000 CMH while covering over 60 feet. At 140 kg with 5 aluminium 6061 T6 blades, it is the most powerful portable fan in the JCB lineup and is suited to very large temporary or semi-permanent installations such as aircraft hangars, ship yards, large warehouses, and outdoor event spaces where ceiling mounting is not possible.
